  • What exactly will we discuss?
    During our days together in Bloemfontein, we will discuss what it takes to build the collective power of communities to create resilient, people-powered places. As part of this, we will explore what kind of institutions we need to build a society fit for the next generation. With its history of overcoming the system of apartheid, South Africa is the perfect place for this discussion.

  • What are SIX events?
    SIX has extensive experience and a great track record for hosting inspiring, creative and thought-provoking events, bringing together innovative thinkers and practitioners from all over the world. We’ve hosted 20+ multi day events on 6 continents, connecting hundreds of people. Each time, working closely with a local partner who is rooted in their city/place.   • Is there a discount/bursary?
    It’s important that the Indaba is inclusive of as many diverse perspectives as possible. We can provide discounted tickets or a waiver of ticket fee to small organisations. Please get in touch with events@socialinnovationexchange.org to find out more.
  • Can I be a sponsor?
    Yes, we are seeking partners to collaborate with us, and sponsor the event. Partners can support in several ways, from sponsoring a dinner and co-designing a session, to supporting the attendance of speakers and guests, among others.
